SWEENEY - Linda Lucas
Age 63, died Wednesday, September 19, 2018 after most gracefully enduring a challenging illness.

Linda’s humor, indomitable spirit, beauty, generosity and her goodness of heart will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
 

The beloved wife of David L. Sweeney, Linda especially will be remembered as a loving and devoted, wife, daughter, mother, nana, sister, aunt and friend. She was the daughter of Carol Glastetter Lucas and the late Thomas W. Lucas; mother of Sara Zilliox and Katie (fiancé Shawn Roberts) Root, Brenda (Jeffrey) Sandberg and Kristen (Robert) Murphy; sister of Bill and Susie; grandmother of Caleb, Rianne, Avalynn, Holly and Aiden; aunt to her ever faithful nieces and nephews; sister-in-law of Karen Lendhardt; and lifelong friend to Vinnie Mercer, Rainy (Lorraine) Gruber, Mary Vaux Evans and Jeannie Harris.

All are invited to visitation, followed by a Memorial Service, at D. LAWRENCE GINNANE FUNERAL HOME, 3215 Delaware Ave., Kenmore, NY on Saturday, September 29. Visitation is from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. Memorial Service to commence at 12:00 noon.
