I just found out. Mike was a true friend. His mischievous grin…

“Good signors both, when shall we laugh? Say, when?
You grow exceeding strange. Must it be so?"

So many great times in my youth in the company of Mike. You will be missed.

I am just hearing of this now and am shocked and saddened. Mike was so great with his customers and had such a gentle manner and funny demeanor. I always left the Post Office smiling! I hope his family knows how much he was appreciated by his customers. He will be greatly missed. I will keep all of you in my prayers.

Wow - I was just at the Post Office in Kenmore today and an employee and fellow worker of Mike's told me of his passing. I'm in shock. What a nice man. We would talk about everything - including hunting - which Mike loved. It is so hard for me to get a handle on him dying and no longer to take care of me while in the post office. Seldom have I seen Mike from the other side of the counter. For those of you who knew him outside of work - you were blessed. I wish I had.
May the family and friends find comfort in the God of comfort.

I just found out today 1/12/18 about Mike. I knew Mike in two ways. First he was my student at Kenmore West High School. We always used to kid about that at the Post Office. And of course I saw him many times at the Post Office. He was a fine man and finding this out is a shock . I truly don't know what to say except "May you rest in Peace Dear Friend".

Shocked. We lost a great one. A couple of weeks ago, I locked my office and car keys in my office. I did, however, have a handful of letters, so I walked to the post office. Mike was there being Mike -- I told him of my misfortune, and he offered me his van keys to travel to my wife's work (some 20 minutes away) to retrieve a pair of spare keys. I told Mike that he was crazy and that I could crash his van or runoff with it. Mike replied: "I like to help people when I can." This was Mike. My thoughts are with his family, friends, and all the others that he effected on a daily basis. He will be severely missed.

My deepest sympathy to Mike's family. Mike was such a great guy. Will miss him and his smile greatly as will many people. He always was willing to lend a hand and help. When my boyfriend passed, he was always asking if there was anything he could help me with around the house. He will never be forgotten.

My deepest sympathies to his family. I only knew Mike through the post office, but he was always a joy to talk with and made me feel like it was a small town post office the way he remembered past conversation with everyone. He will be greatly missed.
