Husband of the late Phyllis Polino Farkas.  Dear father of James (Joely Lancour), Michael (Judith) Farkas and the late John Farkas; loving grandfather of Jillian (David) Menzel, Jennifer (David) Sternbach, Christine (Manuel Castro) Farkas, Ph.D and Caroline (fiance; Ryan Romanowski) Farkas, Ph.D; brother of the late Elizabeth Dolce, Agnes English, Frank and Joseph Farkas, Catherine Russo and Anne Meister; brother-in-law Mary Grace Gill and Sister Marygrace Polino, OSF, who provided loving care and support during his time of illness. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at D. LAWRENCE GINNANE FUNERAL HOME, 3215 Delaware Ave., Kenmore, Friday, January 26th,  3:00 - 7:00 PM, where a funeral will be held Saturday at 9:30 AM.  A Mass of Christian Burial from St. Paul's RC Church at 10:00 AM. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Memorials to Sisters of St. Francis of Penance and Christian Charity, Development Office, Stella Niagara, NY 14144, or the American Cancer Society are preferred.
