March 29, 1938 – June 12, 2025

Of Kenmore, NY Daughter of the late William and Winifred Kenny Whelan; Beloved sister of the late Lawrence (late Jean), late Michael (Lucille), late Andrew (late Lucille) and late Thomas (late Suzanne) Whelan; Beloved aunt of many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews; longtime companion of the late Leonard Jedrzejek.

Family will receive friends at D. LAWRENCE GINNANE FUNERAL HOME 3215 Delaware Ave., Kenmore Sunday (June 22nd) 2:00-5:00 PM. All are invited to a Memorial Mass at St. Paul’s RC Church 2930 Delaware Ave. Kenmore Monday at 10:00 AM.

A devoted educator in the KenTon School System for 30 years, she cherished her time teaching and would often tell stories of her past students. Cece made an impact on every life she touched. She was dedicated to friends, family and saving every feral cat in Buffalo. Her life was lived exactly how she wanted it to be…Full of Peace and Love.

Cecelia truly left this world a better place than she found it and will be deeply missed by all
