TWIST - Donna M. (nee: Kelly)

In loving memory of Donna Marie Twist. Born to this Earth January 13, 1925; Born to Eternal Life January 7, 2026.Our beloved mother, Donna Marie (Kelly) Twist died peacefully a few days before her 101st birthday. Born to Loretta (nee McCarthy) and Donald Kelly and raised in South Buffalo, she was deeply proud of her Irish Catholic lineage. A beacon of clarity, strength, integrity, and kindness with a dazzling smile and keen sense of fun she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In addition to raising her own five children, she was known to freely open her arms to other children in need. In 1948 she married our father Thomas Henry Twist. Married for close to 70 years before his passing, they provided a stable and loving home in North Buffalo and during the summer in Long Beach, Ontario. After all of her children started school she began work as a Executive Secretary at the Buffalo Board of Education in City Hall. This was a job she loved. She was pre-deceased by her husband Thomas Henry Twist, her eldest son Thomas Kevin Twist (Kathy) and her step brother David Bellow.

She is survived by her remaining children Donna Parker (Rodney), Charles Twist, Margaret Spadinger (Peter) and Patricia Graham (John). Seven grandchildren: Thomas Twist (Sarah), Daniel Parker (Maureen), Andrew Parker, Mary Parker, Eileen Spadinger (Michaelangelo), Kevin Spadinger, Kelly Graham (Jackson) and three great grandchildren.
