Of Tonawanda Twp, November 27, 2019

Beloved husband of the late Marilyn (Muller) Nolan.  Devoted father of Patricia (Robert, III) O'Connor, Andrea (John) Livsey;  loving grandfather of Taylor, Marissa and Sara Livsey, Michael and Alexander O'Connor.  Predeceased by his parents Walter and Victoria (Wojtowicz) Nolan.

Friends may call at the D. LAWRENCE GINNANE FUNERAL HOME 3215 Delaware Ave, Kenmore Monday (December 2nd) 4:00 - 8:00 PM.  All are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Amelia RC Church 2999 Eggert Rd. (at Cornwall Ave.) Tonawanda, Tuesday at 9:00 AM. Please meet at church.

Jerry was a 1952 graduate of Riverside High School.  He joined the National Guard at the age of 17 and was called up to active duty during the Korean War.  Jerry served with the 82nd Airborne until he left the service.  He went on to get his B.S. in Accounting and his MBA at the University of Buffalo.  He spent his career in the accounting field working at multiple places including Columbus McKinnon in Tonawanda and Erie County as Commissioner of Finance.

He and his wife raised their daughters in the Town of Tonawanda.  He was extremely devoted to his daughters and all of his grandchildren.  He will be remembered by family and friends as a very active guy who loved to talk.  He has been an active member of the 82nd Airborne Niagara Frontier Chapter for decades.  He was a volunteer with Homes for Our Troops.  He enjoyed spending time with family, friends and his cat "Smitty". Also helping with home repairs, photography, videography, skiing, scuba diving, watching movies and making popcorn.
