The eldest of 3 daughters born to George and Esther Flavin.  Wife of 58 years to the late Stephen M. Godfrey; Dear mother of Kathleen (Christian) Gaborit, Michael (Alyssa) and Brian P. (Elaine Ursin) Godfrey; loving grandmother of 5 grandchildren, one great-grandson; and her cousin Linda Pluff. 

All are invited to a Memorial Mass at St. John Neumann Chapel of St. John the Baptist RC Church 1085 Englewood Ave. (near Belmont Ave.) Tonawanda, Saturday (June 24th)  at 10:45 AM.  Please meet at church. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. 

Joan was a retired KenTon Elementary School teacher and a volunteer at the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site and a member of the patient experience task force Kenmore Mercy Hospital.
