MOORE – Margaret Ann (nee: Vanden Bosch)

Of Williamsville, NY, born October 23, 1941, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2022. She was born in Southern California, right outside of Los Angeles, and moved to New York City where she met the love of her life and soulmate, Vincent J. Moore, who has said over and over how lucky he was to have Margaret in his life. They were blessed to be married for 59 years.  Margaret was the center of her family and the loving mother of Bridgette Glover, Brett Moore, and his wife, Julie, Vincent Moore, and Molly Moore.  She brought much joy to her grandchildren  Lucy, Isabelle, Sarah, Hannah, Alexander, Vanessa, and Natalie who all loved her dearly. Margaret’s sisters Martinet Vander Wal, Linda Simpson, Gretta Fikse, and Anna Hofman brought Margaret much joy and happiness.  Margaret found her strength in her faith and comforted many through her endeavors while serving the members of St. Joseph University Parish in many ways. She extended her service at Furever Friends Dog Rescue of WNY finding happiness in bringing awareness to the nonprofit group. She would ultimately adopt puppies Maddie and Evie, who never left Margaret’s side.  Because of her tremendous love of family, Margaret was always joyfully present at the many celebrations, sporting events, concerts, and functions of her children and grandchildren.

The family will be present at D. LAWRENCE GINNANE FUNERAL HOME 3215 Delaware Ave. Kenmore Monday, December 12th from 2:00 - 7:00 PM. Her life will be celebrated at St. Joseph University Church 3269 Main St, Buffalo Tuesday, December 13 at 10:00 AM.  Entombment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
