Of Kenmore, NY Beloved husband of 55 years to the late Anne O’Grady Rivard and the late Margaret Smith Rivard; Dear father of twins James E. and Gerald H. Rivard, twins Mark (Mary Beth) and Mary A. Rivard, Loretta A. Rivard, Susan (Anthony) DiBenedetto, Molly (David) Fox, Virginia (Christian) Spaeth, Anne (Andrew) Grupp, Elizabeth Rivard, John J. Rivard; son of the late Harvey E. and Loretta Koopman Rivard-Callanan; survived by 20 grandchildren 22 Great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson; brother of the late Idamae (late Howard) Klipfel and late Gerald (Terry) Rivard; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. 

Bob served in the US Army Signal Corp., a graduate of University at Buffalo and retired as an accountant for General Motors Powertrain. In retirement he and his wife Anne visited the National Parks, enjoyed hiking and outdoors activities. He was an adept Bridge card player at the Park Lane and Tonawanda Senior Center and an avid reader of history. 

Friends may call at D. LAWRENCE GINNANE FUNERAL HOME 3215 Delaware Ave., Kenmore Thursday (8/15) 3:00 - 7:00 PM. All are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Paul’s RC church 2390 Delaware Ave, Kenmore Friday at 10:00 AM. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Memorials to Alzheimer’s Assoc of WNY or Hospice Buffalo are preferred.
