Socorro "Mirna" Haeick Obituary

HAEICK – Socorro “Mirna” (nee: Badui)

June 17, 1934 – March 1, 2026

Of Tonawanda, New York,  beloved wife of the late E. Louis Haeick.  Devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Mirna was the heart of our family — a woman whose love, strength, and faith shaped generations. She was a dedicated and loving mother to Mary Mote (Mike), Jackie Slattery (Shawn), Johnny Haeick (Debbie), Louis Haeick (Carol), and the late Richard Haeick (Amy). She was a proud and cherished grandmother to Elias Haeick, Angela Manning (Alex), Miranda Haeick, Samantha Haeick, Jonathan Haeick (Chelsea), Julia Haeick, Justin Haeick, Shaunna Zwick (Thomas), Michael Mote, and Nicholas Haeick.

Her legacy continues through her adored great-grandchildren: Mason Manning, Angah'lo Manning, Nyah Manning, Nina Manning, Dougie Manning, and Benjamin Haeick, each of whom brought her immeasurable joy.

She was a loving sister to Jacqueline Biassano Badui Thomas, Rosario Badui Gomez, Jose Ernesto Badui Gomez, Veronica Badui Estrella, Emelinda Badui Estrella, Josefina Badui Estrella, Elizabeth Badui Estrella and the late Augusto Emilio Badui Thomas, Rafael Badui Thomas, Jose Alberto Badui Thomas.  She is also survived many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who will forever cherish her memory.

She will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family, her warm heart, her generous spirit, and the way she made everyone feel welcomed and loved. Her home was a place of comfort, laughter, and faith, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
