Carol I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I know I haven't seen you in many years, but once a Sisters family, always a Sisters family. May you be comforted by family and friends and by all the memories of your happy years together. Prayers for you and Neil. God bless. Xo

I was blessed to have known Steve over the course of the last few years and he will be so sadly missed. He was a true gentleman and had a real servant's heart. The world has lost another really good man.

Carol and Neil-you will be in my prayers.

~Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words.~ The Bible (1 Thess. 4:13-18)

Steve was always such a good friend to me. I loved talking & laughing with him about all the goofy things that happened each day on the base. I enjoyed working projects together and being on the financial committee. We had so much fun at bowling and during mobility inspections. He will always be remembered as one of the most dedicated & professional members of the 107th that I have known. Though we didn't see much of each other after retirement, I will always consider him my friend.

Steve was a friend and comrade in arms. Always enjoyed our conversations at the base. He was former Navy as was I and we had many stories to tell between the two of us. Sympathies and blessings to Carol, Neil and the Hardick family. Steve will be missed.
